About School House Learning Centre
School House Learning Centre was founded in 2020 by Aadam Mulla, a qualified maths teacher with a Master's in Education and Learning, QTS, and five years of classroom experience in UK secondary schools. Since then, we've worked with over 120 families across the UK and internationally, helping students aged 8 to 16 build real confidence and get the grades they're working towards.
We offer online 1-to-1 tuition in Maths, English, and Science, covering 11+, SATs, and GCSE. Every tutor at SHLC has a minimum of five years teaching or tutoring experience and goes through a careful vetting process. We're selective because standards matter, and we'd rather have a small team that consistently delivers than a large roster that doesn't.
What sets us apart
Most tutoring centres hand your child a worksheet and call it a session. We do things differently. Before lessons begin, we assess your child properly, identify the gaps that are holding them back, and build a plan around where they actually need to go. Every lesson builds on the last, and parents receive clear updates on what's improving and what's next.
The results speak for themselves. Our GCSE students regularly improve by two to three grades in three to seven months, which is two to three times faster than the typical UK benchmark of one grade per year. On the 11+ side, our students have secured places at over ten top UK schools including Merchant Taylors', Queen Elizabeth's School, and The Latymer School, with several receiving scholarship awards.
