About Aadam
Aadam spent five years teaching maths in UK secondary schools before founding SHLC in 2020. He holds a Master's in Education from the University of York, QTS and enhanced DBS clearance. Since leaving the classroom, he has worked one-to-one with over 120 families across the UK and internationally, covering 11+, SATs and GCSE Maths.
Parents choose him because he is direct. He identifies the actual problem in the first session, builds the plan around it, and tells you plainly what is working. There are no vague progress updates and no wasted sessions.

What to expect
All sessions are online via Google Meet, one-to-one. Every scholarship and every grade jump above happened over a screen.
The first session establishes where your child actually is, not where their school report says they are. From there, every session has a clear focus: questions get worked through live, immediate feedback is given, and a short piece of practice consolidates it before the next session.
After each lesson, parents receive an honest update covering what was covered, what clicked, what needs more work and what comes next.
Within a few weeks, most parents notice their child stops avoiding maths homework, starts asking sharper questions, and backs themselves in front of a problem rather than freezing. The grades tend to follow.
