I'm Aadam Mulla, founder of School House Learning Centre (SHLC), an online maths tuition company based in Wakefield that I've been running since 2020. I'm a qualified Maths teacher with a Master's in Education and QTS, and I've spent five years teaching in mainstream UK schools with over 3,000 hours of online tutoring experience. I also run a YouTube channel with over 1,000 subscribers where I share maths tutorials and exam tips, and an e-commerce business alongside my tutoring.

I work with students from SATs and 11+ preparation all the way through to GCSE Maths and A-Level Further Maths, helping them improve their exam results, strengthen weak areas, and grow in confidence.

My experience teaching in mainstream schools has allowed me to understand how best to support students in groups or one to one tutoring sessions to help them progress as quickly as possible. I'm able to support students of all abilities and those with SEN (Special Educational Needs), personalising learning so that it's accessible and achievable for everyone. I enjoy helping students progress within their education whilst making sure they actually enjoy it at the same time.

About Me

I'm a patient online maths tutor that seeks to understand each student and how I can best help them reach their goals. I live in Wakefield, Yorkshire, though unfortunately I only possess a mild Yorkshire accent! Please note, my sessions are run solely online via video call.

I previously studied at the University of York, worked at L'Oréal, and have led several charity initiatives that have raised over £500,000. Through my varied experiences, I enjoy showing students what they can achieve with Maths – whether that's the path they're looking to take or just to pass an exam. I aim to motivate them within all facets of their life so that they not only become better mathematicians but more confident individuals overall.
