What the calculator is telling you

From £10per paper, on orders of 20 or more scripts

The figure above is the whole cost. There is no per subject surcharge, no setup fee, and no separate charge for returning the papers.

Two things change the number. The first is volume, because larger orders cost less per script. The second is whether a paper has more than one booklet. Some specifications, certain RE and Science papers in particular, are sat as two booklets in one session. Those count as the work they actually are, so send us the paper codes and we will price it correctly rather than guess.

If you have fewer than 20 scripts, bulk pricing does not apply. Our individual marking service covers smaller numbers at a per paper rate.

Who marks the papers

Every script is marked by a qualified UK teacher with subject specific experience, and many of our markers have current or recent examiner experience with the major boards. No teaching assistants. No automated scoring.

We cover all GCSE subjects. If your subject is not listed below, ask, and we will confirm quickly rather than leave you waiting.

Scores and feedback in a format you can feed straight into your data systems. You choose whether the original scripts come back or whether you only need the marks.

Where marks were lost

Feedback identifies where marks were lost, not just how many. For a head of department deciding what to reteach in January, that distinction is the entire point of sending the papers out.

Papers arrive by post or as scanned digital files, and they can come in batches rather than all at once. Schools rarely have every script ready on the same day, so we do not ask them to be.

Payment and turnaround

We agree the turnaround in writing before any marking starts, and we will tell you if a deadline is not realistic rather than accept it and miss it.

Payment is normally 50% before marking begins and the balance on completion. We accept purchase orders and invoice to fit your school's finance process.
