Common questions
Answers to what families usually ask before booking.
Which option is right for my child?
It depends on where your child is and how urgently they need support. If you are not sure, start with the Diagnostic Assessment. It maps exactly where the gaps are and makes the right next step obvious. Or book a free 10-minute call and we will talk you through it.
Is there a contract on the monthly programmes?
No contract. All programmes run on monthly billing. You can cancel with one month's notice at any point. There is no joining fee on any programme.
What year groups do you cover?
Year 4 and 5 for 11+ preparation. Year 6 for SATs and late 11+ preparation. Year 9, 10 and 11 for GCSE. If your child falls outside these groups, book a free call and we will advise on the best fit.
Which exam boards do you cover?
For GCSE: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas and IGCSE. For 11+: GL Assessment, CEM and FSCE. All sessions are matched to your child's specific exam board from the first session.
Can my child switch between options?
Yes. Many families start with a Diagnostic Assessment or Sprint and move onto a full monthly programme once they have seen how it works. Others use the monthly programme and add a Holiday Intensive during school breaks. There is no penalty for switching.
Are sessions online or in person?
All sessions run online via Google Meet. Your child needs a device, a stable internet connection, and for Maths sessions a pen, paper and scientific calculator.
What is the Tutoring With Friends option?
Tutoring With Friends lets 2 to 5 students share a session and split the cost. Sessions run the same way as one-to-one tuition, just with a small group. GCSE Maths, English and Science. From £20 per student per session. Find out more here.
How quickly can we start?
Once you book, we are in touch within one working day to arrange the first session. For one-off products like Mock Marking, turnaround starts from the moment you submit your paper.
