Divide by the bottom number. 40 ÷ 5 = 8, so one fifth is 8.

No planning evening behind it, and no printer.

No lesson planning

Open the next lesson on the list. The teaching is already on the screen, so there is nothing to write before you sit down.

A worked example on every unit

Each unit shows the method one step at a time, so you can explain it even if you last did this maths at school yourself.

Answers on one click

Your child works the question on paper, clicks to reveal the answer, and checks it against their own working.

20 to 30 minutes a lesson

That is one sitting at the table. Each lesson holds more questions than one sitting needs, so stop once it has landed.

Nothing to print

It opens in a browser on a laptop or a desktop computer. Nothing to install, and no paper to run off the night before.

Before you buy

What this is not

If one of these is a dealbreaker, better to find out now than after you have paid.

It is not a whole curriculum. This is maths. There is no English, no science and no humanities in it, so you will need those from somewhere else.

It is not marked by a teacher. Your child reveals the answers and checks their own working. Nobody grades it and there is no report at the end of term.

It is not a printable workbook. The lessons run on screen, on a laptop or a desktop computer. A phone is too small to work from.

It is not a video course. Nobody talks at your child for twenty minutes. You teach from the worked example, which is why it needs a parent in the room, at least at first.

It is not a subscription. You pay once and the lessons stay yours.
