About this lesson

By the end of this lesson your child can look at any squares, cubes or roots question, a square number, a square root, an estimate between two whole numbers, a cube or a cube root, and know which method it needs. The lesson builds each one as a shape first, so 5² is the area of a square and 4³ is the number of cubes inside a box.
