About this lesson
By the end of this lesson your child can look at any multiplication question, one digit, two digit or three digit, and know whether it needs a grid or a column, and set it out without a place value going astray. Multiplication is where marks quietly leak on a KS2 or 11+ paper, usually because a row was written one column out.
