How to play Round the Dots
Join the dots with lines to make one loop. The loop goes round and comes back to where it started, with no crossings, no branches and no loose ends. A number in a square tells you how many of its four sides the loop uses, so a 3 has three of its sides on the loop and a 0 has none. Tap a side between two dots to draw a line, tap again for an X where the loop cannot go, and tap once more to clear it. Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can find it by logic alone.
Round the Dots is our own take on a Slitherlink-style puzzle, the logic game also called a loop puzzle. It starts on a 3 by 3 grid and climbs to 6 by 6, and every solved loop shows its perimeter and the area inside it, so it is great practice for logic, perimeter, area and square names like B2.
