How to play Halfsies

Fill every square with a sun or a moon. Each row and each column is half suns and half moons, so a row of 6 has 3 of each. Never put three the same together, across or down, and no two rows (or two columns) can be the same. Tap a square to change it: sun, moon, then empty again. Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can find it by logic alone.

Halfsies is our own take on Takuzu, the logic puzzle also called a binary puzzle or a binairo-style puzzle, with suns and moons in place of 1s and 0s (switch to 1 and 0 in Settings). It starts on a 4 by 4 grid and climbs to 8 by 8, so it is great practice for halving, spotting patterns and square names like C4. Like puzzles? Try Tally Boats, Sum Lanes or our maths games.
