How to play Side Seek
A big rectangle is split into rooms. Some rooms show their area and some sides show a length. Use area = width × height, and lengths that add up along a side, to find the number marked ?. You can write anything you work out in the empty circles.
Side Seek is our own take on area maze puzzles, the area maze idea made famous by Naoki Inaba. It starts with two rooms and grows to five, so it is great practice for area, missing lengths and times tables. Like puzzles? Try Box Clever, Sum Pockets or our maths games.
Inside numbers are areas. Edge numbers are lengths.
