What a Sprint Is

A sprint is a fixed block of one-to-one tuition built around one subject and a clear set of topics, with an experienced specialist teacher.

The 4-Week Sprint is tight and targeted: four weekly sessions with time to practise between them. The Holiday Intensive concentrates five daily sessions into a single school holiday week. The 8-Week Sprint gives room to cover a subject in real depth, at one or two sessions per week.

Common Questions

Which sprint should we choose?

If one subject needs targeted work and your child can practise between sessions, start with the 4-Week Sprint. If a school holiday is coming and you want concentrated progress, the Holiday Intensive fits five sessions into one week. If the subject needs depth rather than a quick push, the 8-Week Sprint gives room to move at one or two sessions per week.

What subjects do sprints cover?

Maths, English and Science, for GCSE and SATs, across all major exam boards. Each sprint focuses on one subject so the time actually moves the needle.

Can my child do two sessions a week?

Yes. The 8-Week Sprint runs at one or two sessions per week depending on how quickly your child needs to move. The Holiday Intensive is already daily.

What happens when the sprint ends?

You will have a clear picture of where your child stands and what the next step should be. Some families stop there, others continue into a full programme. There is no obligation either way.
