    Find the mean, median, mode and range of 3, 8, 5, 8, 6.

    1. Order the list first: 3, 5, 6, 8, 8
    2. Mean:3 + 5 + 6 + 8 + 8 = 30, then 30 ÷ 5 = 6
    3. Median: the middle value is 6. Mode: 8 appears twice
    4. Range:8 − 3 = 5

    Answer: Mean 6, median 6, mode 8, range 5
