What Is Inside The Complete 11+ Maths Course

Buying an 11+ maths course online is mostly an act of faith. You see a price, a screenshot and a list of topics, and you find out what you actually bought after the money has gone.
So this is the whole thing written down. Every lesson in The Complete 11+ Maths Course, what each block teaches, what happens inside one lesson, and the parts that are easy to miss.
I'm Aadam. I built these lessons for my own students first, because I could not find anything that taught a topic properly and then let a child practise it without me sitting next to them.
What arrives when you buy it
One link, by email, within a minute or two. It opens a page listing all 80 lessons in teaching order, numbered 1 to 80. Bookmark that page and it is your whole library.
There is nothing to install, nothing to print and no login to remember. Every lesson opens in a browser on a laptop or a desktop computer. You buy it once and keep it, and new lessons are added to the same page free.
Everything that is inside, block by block
80 lessons, 463 units and 6,773 practice questions, grouped into 16 topic blocks. The order matters more than the list does: each block assumes the ones above it are secure, which is why place value comes first and problem solving comes last.
Place Value and Rounding. Lessons 1 to 6, 516 questions. Reading and writing numbers from tens and ones up to a billion, then rounding to 10, 100 and 1,000.
The Four Operations and BIDMAS. Lessons 7 to 14, 766 questions. Mental and written addition and subtraction, multiplying, dividing, divisibility rules, squares, cubes and roots, then BIDMAS and inserting brackets.
Decimals and Negatives. Lessons 15 to 21, 722 questions. Decimal place value, rounding to decimal places, significant figures and estimation, powers of 10, all four operations with decimals, and negative numbers.
Factors, Multiples and Primes. Lessons 22 to 24, 234 questions. Listing factors in pairs, HCF and LCM including the worded questions that name neither, primes and prime factorisation.
Fractions. Lessons 25 to 29, 390 questions. Building fractions, adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing, fractions of amounts, and reverse fractions.
Ratio. Lessons 30 to 32, 286 questions. Equivalent ratios, recipes, scaling and best buys, then sharing and difference problems.
Percentages. Lessons 33 to 35, 262 questions. Percentages of amounts, increase, decrease and change, then reverse percentages.
Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. Lessons 36 to 37, 180 questions. Converting in every direction, then comparing and ordering numbers written in mixed forms.
Algebra and Sequences. Lessons 38 to 47, 850 questions. Expressions, collecting terms, substitution, expanding, factorising, equations, formulae, sequences and function machines.
Angles and Symmetry. Lessons 48 to 52, 242 questions. Measuring and drawing angles, angles on a line and at a point, angles in shapes, parallel lines, then line and rotational symmetry.
Area, Perimeter and Volume. Lessons 53 to 57, 392 questions. Perimeter, area of squares, rectangles and triangles, trapezia and compound shapes, volume of 3D shapes and surface area.
Averages and Range. Lessons 58 to 61, 369 questions. Mode, median and range, mean and reverse mean, averages from frequency tables, then problems where a value is added or removed.
Data, Charts and Graphs. Lessons 62 to 66, 408 questions. Tally and frequency tables, bar charts, line graphs and pictograms, two-way tables, Venn and Carroll diagrams, and pie charts.
Coordinates, Units and Time. Lessons 67 to 71, 440 questions. Coordinates in four quadrants, transformations, converting units, time, timetables and calendars, then speed, distance and time.
Probability. Lessons 72 to 74, 260 questions. Listing combinations systematically, single events on the 0 to 1 scale, then two events, tree diagrams and expected frequency.
Puzzles and Problem Solving. Lessons 75 to 80, 456 questions. Sudoku logic, Roman numerals, number bases and binary, anagrams and codes, magic squares and number pyramids, then multi-step word problems.

What happens inside one lesson
Every lesson runs the same four stages, which is the part that makes it usable without an adult sitting alongside.
1. Explore. Most lessons open with something your child moves rather than reads. A place value slider, a bar model builder, a 3D cube stacker, a spinner they build themselves. It is the part that makes an abstract rule into something they have already seen happen.
2. I Do. A worked example, revealed one line at a time as your child clicks. They see the setting out being built rather than a finished answer sitting on the page, which is the difference between copying a method and following one.
3. You Do. The same kind of question handed straight back, with the answer hidden until they choose to show it. They have to commit to something before they can check it.
4. Practice, then a mixed challenge. Questions in three tiers, colour coded from gentle to hard, so a shaky child starts where they are rather than where the worksheet starts. Each lesson finishes with a mixed set drawn from all of its units, so your child has to work out which method a question needs before they can use it. That is a separate skill from performing the method, and it is the one the exam tests.

The features that are easy to miss
These are the parts nobody notices in a screenshot, and they are most of what makes it work at a kitchen table.
Question mode. Click a question number and it opens on its own white page, scaled up, with room to write around it. Arrow keys move to the question either side without leaving the page, and there is a stopwatch on each one if you want to know how long a question is really taking.

A pen you can write with on screen. Three pen colours, a highlighter, a laser pointer, straight lines, and a blank or squared writing page over the top of any slide. I teach live off these pages myself, so it is a standing part of the lesson rather than an extra.
Answers stay hidden until clicked. Not marked automatically, and not printed at the bottom of the page where a tired child will find them. There is a reveal all option for when you want to go through a full page at once.
Many lessons deal fresh questions. Press N and the grid refills with new numbers, so a topic can be repeated next week without your child remembering last week's answers. It is not every lesson yet, and I would rather say that than imply otherwise.
Keyboard shortcuts for the whole thing. N for new questions, R to reveal or hide every answer, F for fullscreen, and a shortcut card on the slash key when you forget. Useful if you are working through a lesson with your child rather than leaving them to it.
It needs a proper screen. A lesson puts a worked example, a diagram and a question grid up at once, so it is built for a laptop or a desktop computer with room for your child's own working beside it. It will open on a phone and everything will be too small to use, so plan on a real screen rather than a pocket one.
The interactive tools
A large share of the units carry a tool your child works with rather than reads. A few of them, so you know the kind of thing:
- Arranging digit cards into the biggest and smallest possible number
- A 3D cube builder that counts one layer, then the layers going back
- A bar model that splits into its parts one step at a time
- A Venn region lab with the circle totals and the grand total on screen
- A pie chart plotter, a percent wall, a spinner builder and a sudoku arena


What it does not do
It does not mark your child's work for you, and it does not report back to you on what they got right. Your child checks their own answer by clicking, which is deliberate, but it does mean you should look at their book now and then rather than assuming the screen has it covered.
It is not a tutor. Nothing on the page notices that your child has misunderstood something and changes course. If they are stuck in a way a worked example does not fix, they need a person.
It does not cover English, verbal reasoning or non-verbal reasoning. This is maths only.
Who it suits
It works best if you are teaching at home and want a route rather than a pile of resources, if your child is in Year 4 to Year 11 and the gaps run wider than one topic, or if you are home educating and need a maths spine for the year.
It suits you less if your child needs one specific topic fixed. In that case buy the single lesson or the bundle for that topic and spend the difference on something else.
What it costs
£200 for all 80 lessons. The same lessons bought as their 16 topic bundles come to £312.84, and bought one lesson at a time at £5.99 each they come to £479.20.
Put differently, that is £2.50 a lesson, and less than one month of a tutoring programme.

What to do before you buy anything
Open the syllabus page and read down it with your child next to you. Stop at the first thing they cannot do. That is where their preparation actually starts, and it is usually earlier than parents expect.
