How to play Step Squares

Fill the empty squares so the numbers count on in order: 1, 2, 3 and so on. Each number shares a side with the next one, so the numbers make one path through every square. Grey squares start with a number to help you. Later levels let corners count too, and some count in 2s, 5s, 10s or 3s.

Step Squares is our own Hidato-style number path puzzle. It starts on a small 3 by 3 grid and grows to 6 by 6, so it is great practice for counting on, number sequences and thinking ahead. Like puzzles? Try Sign Hop, Side Seek or our maths games.
