Use the countdown above to track only your child's subjects and save them to a phone calendar. Dates follow the published national timetable, but boards occasionally amend individual papers, so your child's personal timetable from school is always the final word.

When Is GCSE Results Day 2027?
GCSE results day 2027 is expected to be Thursday 19 August 2027.
GCSE results are released on the third Thursday of August each year, with A level results the Thursday before, on 12 August 2027. Most schools open from around 8:00am for students to collect results in person. JCQ confirms the exact date each spring, so treat 19 August as the working date until then.
Between the last paper on 18 June 2027 and results day there is a wait of around ten weeks. If your child is worried about a grade boundary, our GCSE Maths Grade Boundaries Tool shows how many marks each grade has actually needed, and how many marks it takes to pass Foundation tier breaks the numbers down.
How Long Is Left to Prepare?
Counting back from 10 May 2027, most students have their last full term plus the Easter break to revise properly. If maths is the subject causing the worry, our Maths Mastery Lessons work through one topic at a time, and a tutoring programme makes more sense when the gaps are spread across a lot of topics rather than concentrated in a few.
If you want that in minutes rather than weeks, the revision planner turns the time left, the minutes a day and the number of topics into minutes per topic. That is usually the point where a plan stops being wishful.
