Banana Toss: the angle estimating game
Guess the angle. Knock down the bananas.Make and read angles up to 360°. Get within 20° and Momo's stone hits.
Free. 5 levels. Two ways to play.
How to play Banana Toss
Momo sits in the middle of a ring and throws stones at banana bunches. The branch pointing right is 0°, and angles turn anticlockwise from it, all the way round to 360°. In Aim it you drag Momo's arm round to make an angle, like 140°. In Spot it an angle is drawn and you type how big you think it is. Momo always throws at your angle, so the closer your guess, the more bananas fall.
There is no protractor. Children learn to use the quarter turns as checkpoints: 90°, 180°, 270° and 360°. Want more angle practice? Try our maths mastery lessons.
