Why these topics? Non right angled trigonometry (Sine Rule, Cosine Rule, area of a triangle) and sectors are Higher-only topics that didn't appear on Paper 1. Both carry high marks when they appear and are frequently tested together in the same question.

These are the topics students find hardest to self-teach because knowing the formula isn't enough. You need to know which rule to use and when. That's exactly what this session focuses on. By the end, your child will be able to identify the right method from the diagram and set up the calculation correctly.

Both formulas with exam-style practice. Composite shape questions included.

Does my child need to know SOHCAHTOA before joining?
Yes. This session covers non-right angled trig, which builds on right-angled trig. If SOHCAHTOA still needs work, a one-to-one session before half term would be a better starting point.
Can they join other sessions too?
Yes. Each session is standalone. Book individual days or the full week bundle.
