A lot of parents come to us knowing their child needs support but not knowing how much, in which areas, or whether tutoring will actually work for them. The 4 Week Kickstart is the answer to that.

Four weekly sessions with a qualified teacher. A weekly homework plan so your child is working consistently between lessons. A mini mock at the end of the month to see where they actually are. All for £199 per subject.

It gives you a clear picture of your child's level, what they need to work on and whether continuing into a full package makes sense. No long commitment, no guesswork.

What Happens After the 4 Weeks

At the end of the Kickstart, you'll have a clear sense of your child's strengths and gaps and exactly what the next step should be. Most families move into one of our termly homeschool packages from there.

If your child is ready to continue, we'll recommend the right package based on what we've seen over the four weeks.

Subjects Available

Maths, English and Science. The Kickstart is priced per subject at £199. If your child needs support in more than one subject, just let us know and we'll set up a Kickstart for each.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this suitable for all ages and levels? Yes. We tailor every session to your child's current level whether they are at primary, KS3 or GCSE stage. The homework plan and mini mock are also adapted to suit their year group and any upcoming exams.

What is the mini mock? It is a short assessment paper sat under timed conditions at the end of the four weeks. It gives us and you an accurate picture of where your child is performing and what needs the most attention going forward. You receive written feedback on the results.

How does the homework work? Each week your child is set a homework plan to complete before the next session. At the start of every lesson we go through it together, so any mistakes or gaps are picked up straight away and addressed before moving on. Completing the homework is an essential part of the programme. Students who keep up with it between sessions make significantly more progress over the four weeks.

Can we do more than one subject at the same time? Yes. If your child needs Maths and English for example, you can run a Kickstart in both simultaneously. Each subject is £199 so two subjects would be £398 for the month.

What happens if we want to continue after the 4 weeks? We will talk you through the right next step based on what we have seen. Most families move into one of our termly homeschool packages. You can view those here: Homeschool Tutoring Packages.

Is this available for homeschool families and school students? Yes, both. Whether your child attends school and needs extra support, or you are homeschooling and want to trial working with us, the Kickstart is designed to work for either situation.
