Structured, expert-led 11+ tuition in Maths and English
The 11+ is one of the most competitive exams a child will sit. With only 164 grammar schools in England and thousands of families preparing every year, the difference between a place and a near-miss often comes down to how early you start and how systematically your child prepares.
This programme covers Maths and English together, with weekly tuition, targeted homework, regular feedback, and progress tracking built in throughout.
What's Included Every Month
English tuition
Weekly, one-to-oneReading comprehension, inference and analysis, creative writing, grammar, vocabulary, and exam technique. We work on the specific skills grammar school papers test, not just general English ability. Verbal Reasoning is included where needed.
Maths tuition
Weekly, one-to-oneArithmetic speed and accuracy, problem-solving, algebra, geometry, data handling, and the multi-step reasoning questions that consistently separate strong candidates from the rest. Non-Verbal Reasoning is included where needed.
Homework and feedback
Between every sessionStudents who only improve during lessons don't improve fast enough. Every session ends with targeted homework calibrated to what was covered. We review it properly at the next session and adjust the plan based on what it shows.
Practice papers and exam technique
Once foundations are in placeWe move to full-length past papers under timed conditions. Students work through GL Assessment and school-specific papers, learning to manage 90-minute exams, avoid common mistakes, and pick up method marks even on questions they find difficult.
Monthly progress reports
Sent direct to parentsYou receive a clear written update each month covering what was covered, where your child is improving, and what the focus is for the month ahead. No vague summaries. Specific topics, specific progress.
Personalised plan
Reviewed and adjustedDiagnostic assessment in month one shapes the plan from the start. As your child progresses, we adjust the schedule, materials, and difficulty so they're always working at the right level to keep moving forward.

How the Programme Works Month by Month
Diagnostic and setup
Diagnostic assessment, personalised plan, introduction to programme structure and homework expectations. We map out what your child knows, what they don't, and what we'll prioritise.
Systematic topic coverage
Weekly sessions, homework review, and regular mini-assessments tracking progress by topic. Foundations get solid before harder material is introduced.
Past papers and exam prep
Intensive past paper practice under timed conditions, exam technique refinement, and targeted revision of any remaining weak areas. Your child arrives at the exam knowing what to expect.
